Did you know that women in New York fought for the right to be topless in the city? Years from now, you’ll probably forget and think it was a man’s doing. And the revealing clothes you wear now that you think is due to men objectifying you? That can be traced back to the 20’s. There used to be restrictions on what a women could wear by men. Revealing clothes were thought indecent. You guys fought that, and started wearing more revealing clothes because you earned the ability to. Another fun fact: thongs were originally made for guys, and were adopted for women’s wear.
Funny how the patriarchy is always trying to control and shame what women do with their bodies.
